You take care of them and they'll take care of you ❤

Most of you probably don't do this, but from now on, you'll probably start... What is it you ask?
Why, it's cleaning your makeup brushes! Yes you need to give them a bath at least once a week!
If you take good care of them, trust me they'll take care of you and your skin. Washing your brushes weekly will prevent shredding and keep them smooth and soft. ( This is a very important procedure, so please don't ignore it!)

To give your brushes a bubble bath you will need the following items: ...

- Your makeup brushes
- tissue paper
- Makeup brush shampoo or baby shampoo works perfectly fine too
- luke warm water (important)
- good mood :)

Once you've got all of this set out you'll need to follow these steps:

1) Make sure your tap is running  (no bath - running water is the key) and set it at luke warm - so not too hot and not too cold!

2) You're going to want to place your brush under the running water like so:

Always have your brush facing down! You're then going to gently squeeze your brush from top to bottom to get rid of excess water!

3) Next you're going to apply a raspberry size of baby shampoo/ makeup brush shampoo in your hand which will be formed in a small bowel like shape.

4) Your then going to gently swirl your brush in the cup of your hand causing bubble foam residue. The foam will turn into the color of makeup you use it for (probably beige, brown, cream colors) For eye shadow brushes you can do the same process but with a pea size amount of baby shampoo!

5) Then you will rinse your brush the same way you wet it and remember to squeeze the residue out!

6) Last of all you will lay your brushes flat on a tissue paper and wait for it to dry. Never ever put it back in its jar or wherever you keep them with the brush facing upwards!

And Voila you're done! You're brushes will be ready by morning for your next use!
I recommend doing this either in the afternoon if you have time or in the evening the night before using them again so that they have plenty of time to dry properly.
Think about your brushes.. if you take care of them they will take care of your skin. This also saves you from buying new brushes every few months!

Keep in touch! :)
