#howto - Anne Touraine - silk scarf ❤

Girls, here's a first post on one of my Christmas presents. A wonderful gift from my mum.

It's Anne Touraine Paris 100% french silk scarf fabricated in France of course. My favorite was this baby pink colored one with Paris's most famous monuments on it. It is GORGEOUS. I am in love with this scarf and I just can't stop wearing it.

In this post, I will be showing and explaining the many different ways you can wear a 70x70 (27x27inch) or 90x90(36x36inch) square scarf.

Rodeo

  • Fold your scarf diagonally into a triangle
  • Place the center of the scarf at the front of your neck and bring the two ends behind your neck
  • Tie the two ends with a simple or double knot to secure your scarf
  • Make sure the scarf is loosened away from your neck

French Trend

  • Fold your scarf diagonally and then fold the end once or twice to shorten your triangle
  • Center the scarf at the front of your neck and bring the two ends behind, cross them and bring them back to the front
  • Tie the two ends at the front in a double knot over your triangle

Coquette

  • Fold your scarf diagonally and then keep folding it until you create a long band
  • Center the scarf at the front of your neck and bring the two ends behind, cross them and bring them back to the front
  • Tie a double knot over your scarf

Back in style
  • Fold your scarf diagonally and then keep folding it until you create a long band
  • Center the scarf at the back of your neck and bring the ends up to the top of your head near the headline
  • The cross the two ends at the top and tie a knot create bow (shorter scarf) or cross them twice on top of your head and bring the ends back down behind your neck and tie them with a double knot (longer scarf)

Playtime (my favorite)
  • Fold your scarf diagonally and keep folding until you create a long band
  • Center the scarf at the back of your neck and bring the two ends to the front
  • Flip one end on top of the other
  • Take the upper end around and behind the lower end. Pull it through the loop you have just created then tighten. (a bit like a tie)
  • You can either wear this knot to the front, side or back of your neck

Hope you enjoyed this post and I hope you appreciated these new classy elegant ideas to wear your scarf. Remember to store your silk scarf in its original box (if you still have it) if not keep it away from direct sunlight and dust! Perfume, cosmetics and rain damages silk scarfs so be cautious.

Je vous aimes!
